This notice explains how INKCARE handles information submitted through its website, free tools and studio-directory moderation forms.
Who is responsible
INKCARE is responsible for deciding how information collected through this website is used. For privacy requests, or to obtain the controller’s current postal contact details, email contact@getinkcare.co.uk. The legal supplier identity and service address are also stated in any written order agreed before paid work begins.
Information collected
- name, work email, studio name, website and location;
- studio size, commercial priorities and diagnosis answers;
- form source and campaign parameters;
- studio-directory claims, corrections, evidence and contact details;
- optional, pseudonymous website interaction events when measurement is allowed.
Information not requested
Do not submit tattoo-client medical information, consent forms, health details, identity documents or payment-card information through these forms. Payment providers handle card details directly when a live payment route is offered.
Why the information is used
- Requested services: to provide a diagnosis, saved calculation, response or studio-listing review requested by you.
- Optional marketing: only where the separate marketing option is selected, and subject to withdrawal at any time.
- Optional measurement: to understand how the site is used after you allow Google Analytics measurement.
- Safety and integrity: to prevent spam, moderate directory submissions and protect the service.
Storage used on your device
Essential browser storage preserves a diagnosis session and your privacy choice. Google Analytics starts with analytics storage denied. If you choose “Allow measurement”, analytics storage may be used to distinguish visits and understand site use. Advertising storage remains denied, and INKCARE does not use advertising cookies on this site.
Service providers
Information may be processed using the site’s hosting infrastructure, Supabase for lead intake and optional interaction events, Google Analytics for consent-controlled website measurement, and the site database for moderated studio submissions. Other providers are added only when required for an agreed service and should be identified in that scope.
Retention
Unqualified enquiries are normally retained for no longer than 12 months unless consent, an active relationship, a legal requirement or an unresolved request provides a reason to keep them longer. Directory submissions remain available while moderation or a related dispute is active, then are reviewed for deletion or minimisation.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your information. You may withdraw marketing or measurement consent at any time. Email the address above; identity may need to be confirmed before information is disclosed.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe information has been handled unfairly. INKCARE would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.
Changes to this notice
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. The current version applies to new website activity.
